320 ADVANCED PLACEMENT CALCULUS AB
Grade Level: 11-12
The Calculus AB course consists of a full academic year of work in Calculus and related topics comparable to courses in colleges and universities. Topics to be covered are elementary functions, (algebraic, trigonometric, exponential, derivatives, anti-derivatives, definite integral, and logarithmic), limits, differential and integral calculus. At the conclusion of the course, all students must take the national Advanced Placement Calculus AB exam and may earn college credit.
Prerequisite: Honors Pre-calculus (A/B average), placement exam, overall 3.5 GPA, and teacher recommendation.
