Father Karl Bergin
My role as Chaplain to MCC is to be the Sacramental presence on campus, to be a listening and objective ear, and provide pastoral care for the members of the MCC community, especially when they are sick, bereaved, or in need of spiritual support for themselves and their families.
I also see myself as a link with the local parishes and their priests that support the MCC community and its mission of Catholic education.
I am grateful for this privileged position as I am afforded the opportunity to interact with the MCC community to explore and deepen our faith, whether it be through Theology Classes, School Liturgies, Grade Retreats, our community service hours, or one on one encounters. In my role I share my faith, the Good News, and continue to strengthen Catholic Identity in all we endeavor to do as the MCC community.
