820 WEIGHT TRAINING I
Grade Level: 10-12
Will meet the requirement for PE or ELECTIVE
This course provides the student with opportunities to acquire basic knowledge and skills in weight training that may be used in physical fitness pursuits today as well as in later life, improve muscular strength and endurance, and enhance body image. The student also will learn nutritional practices and safety practices related to weight training.
Prerequisite: C.O.R.E. I & II
