Will meet the requirement for RELIGIOUS STUDIES
This course presents Catholic teachings and guidelines necessary for a valid sacramental marriage as well as an understanding of divorce and annulment. Students will engage in interactive role play as “couples” planning a wedding from invitations to honeymoon, resolving challenges of marriage and family life through case scenarios: raising “children”, establishing a financial plan, preparing for retirement and/or the loss of a partner. This elective focuses on how God’s love is manifested in married life. It is not limited to Catholics.
